something interesting happened today morning..woke up at 10plus again and had my mini breakfast..juz when i finished eating and was abt to settle down and watch tv the smoke detector in my room went off! all of us were stunned..coz there was no fire in our room so maybe we thought it went mad..but it didnt stop wailing and my room mate Danielle thought she had caused it to ring coz she was straightening her hair and the steam from the iron might have triggered it..but previously she used it before but the alarm didnt went off..the smoke detectors in some other rooms started to ring too so we were like oh shit..prob due to our room..then there were ppl in charge coming to saxon suite and telling us to get out from our rooms for evacuation..wat the hell..we cant even see any fire anywhere..i had to quickly change out of my pyjamas..i'm not gonna wear that outside man..haha..after that we made our way downstairs to wait..and then the fire engine came! wah lao..like damn serious like that..they made us go to the opposite road to wait while they go check out..damn efficient lar..think the alarm is connected to the fire station..so as we waited i realized that it was the first time i saw ppl staying in saxon suite..throughout my whole stay i nv saw them walking around before..dun even noe they existed..and the wierd thing was we all stayed in the same block..haha..anyway after a while they came back out and they asked us if anyone was taking a hot shower juz now..coz apparently the steam from the shower can activate the alarm..it's madness lor..who on earth would be bathing in such hot water until the steam can activate the alarm..the person would have been boiled alive..anyway we were allowed back into our rooms after that so juz checked on our belongings before heading for lunch..dunnoe wat was the cause but i got a feeling it might have really came from the iron..omg..we caused everyone so much trouble! haha..some ppl were still sleeping lar..juz hope they nv find out the cause..haha..it was quite fun though..nv experienced a real life evacuation before..and ppl were even taking pictures of the fire engine..
my fourth toe on my right foot hurts terribly now..cant even walk properly..slipped on some water on the floor juz now..think i sprained my toe..its like totally swollen and bruised now..hope it gets better tml if not how to walk to class! somemore my lecture venue is at the other end of the campus..think i'll die halfway..and the worst thing is there's no shuttle bus there! really hope it gets better after applying ointment..okie gtg for dinner..super hungry! and rmb to start bidding for ur modules!
