BEAUTIFUL MISTAKE

yest was independence day..so no sch! yeh! no boring econs lecture for one day! although there's this hot guy there..haha..so we all went down to santa monica to shop, tan and catch the fireworks..but the day didnt go off well..coz we went to the bus stop we alighted last time to catch the bus, it told us that we have to catch it at another place coz it's a holiday! stupid bus system! luckily when we reached the other terminal the bus was juz about to go off or else have to wait super long for the next bus to come..and when we finally get to santa monica..the sky was dark..juz great..we couldnt tan at all coz there was no sun..and the weather was quite cold..so we ended up shopping the whole day at 3rd street promenade..haha..there are alot of shops there and brands there which singapore doesn't have..and there were sales everywhere..i bought this pair of shorts from AX and this super nice blush from MAC's moonbathe collection..the peachy colour brings a glow to my face instantly..haha..and this pair of silver shoes from Nine West..after that we met lionel they all for dinner at the pier at this restaurant called Bubba Gump..the ambience is really nice there and the staff are really funny ppl..and their theme is based on the movie Forrest Gump..julia and i shared this fried shrimp platter which taste absolutely heavenly..haha..then some lady's birthday was yest so the staff sang her this wierd birthday song and tried to make her dance..quite funny..definitely dun see these kinda things in Singapore..but the sad thing was they cancelled the fireworks show! dunnoe y..maybe coz of the fog..but we managed to see some of the fireworks they had elsewhere..quite nice..think next week we'll find a day to go tanning after our tests again..oh and they have some small restaurants nearby facing the beach where they light up candles onli at the tables..and it was super romantic..haha..the ambience is really nice..but too bad i didnt take a pic of them..anyway here's some of the pics i took yest..

okie..gtg slp..super tired..disneyland this saturday and hollywood on sunday to see harry potter! excited! more pics coming up!
