BEAUTIFUL MISTAKE

juz got back from vegas this afternoon..super tired now..slept at 3am yest..haha..but the trip was super fun! really enjoyed myself thoroughly..on the 1st day we reached there at around 10.30am but onli got to our hotel at around 12 coz the stupid baggage took sooo long to come out..we stayed at the Stratosphere hotel which is located at the end of The Strip..the Strip is actually this stretch of road that has all the hotels and casinos with all the night lights and shows..it was freaking hot in vegas..think about 40 deg Celsius..and the wind there is not cooling..it feels like steam blowing onto our faces..thought i was gonna get a heatstroke..we went to sign up for the Grand Canyon trip..cost about USD$125..after that we bought a day pass and took a bus down to the Venetian..this really cool hotel designed like Venice..we had chinese noodles at this restaurant there..wah super nice man..really taste like the ones i had in hong kong..that we went on the gondola ride on the canal..really worth the money..there was this Italian guy rowing the boat and singing songs while we went around the hotel..then we went to Madame Tussaud's Wax Musuem and took lotsa pics with the celebrities there..after that we went on the the other hotels to check out..we felt so hot and dehydrated that we practucally ran to the next hotel for the air-con..we felt like we travelled around the world in one day..we went to Caesar's Palace, Paris Las Vegas Hotel, Monte-Carlo, Luxor, The Excalibur..and we visited the M&M's World too! 4 storeys full of M&M's merchandise and they even have a fake factory inside to show us how they make M&M's..quite cool..we wanted to watch the shows that day but we were so tired by then so we head back to our hotel and get ready for Grand Canyon the next day..

the next day we had to get up at 5am for our trip to Grand Canyon..it's about 3hrs away from vegas..but first we went to the tour agency to pay our balance and for the skywalk and had breakfast..then we went to Hoover's Dam..the dam was really beautiful and it's the main electric source for Las Vegas, California and Arizona..we stopped there for about 15mins to take some photos before heading to Grand Canyon..on the way there the driver provided us with some fun facts and showed some movie..we went to the west rim of the canyon coz the skywalk was located there..we got to see Eagle's Point..this place when we can see the shape of an eagle formed by the rocks..then we proceeded to the skywalk which was really super cool..it juz opened this yr and the structure is protruding out of the cliff..the floor is made of glass so we can look all the way down to the bottom of the canyon which is 4000ft deep..we had to wear some shoes cover so that our shoes won't scratch the glass floor..initially it was a bit scary coz it feels like bungee jumping..like i was stepping off the cliff..but after that it was really cool coz it felt like i was walking on air..haha..this photographer helped us took this photo coz we werent allowed to bring our cameras..the photo was so nice we had to buy it..haha..then we took some pics of the Indian tribe's houses before going for our BBQ lunch..the lunch was damn nice esp the beef..and it was very filling..couldnt finish the food..then we went climbing up the rocks and taking pictures of the beautiful view..the photos doesnt do it justice..the view is too beautiful..really juz take my breath away..after that we head back to vegas and reach back at around 5.30pm..we took a shower and went to Denny's for dinner coz Julia wanted to relieve her childhood memories..haha..the food there is quite nice and cheap too..then we went to watch the Treasure Island show..couldnt really see coz there were so many ppl..but the show was very entertaining with fireworks and music..then we went to Caesar's Palace to catch the Alantis show..not bad also..got fire and water effects..we caught abit of the volcano eruption at The Mirage and the water show at the Bellagio..we wanted to go to the Pussycat Dolls Lounge but the queue was so long that we decided to go somewhere else..in the end we went to Coyote Ugly bar at New York New York Hotel..it was damn funny coz i think the 2 of us were the youngest inside..the rest of them are like older than us and there are even some old ppl inside..haha..but there were some bar top dancers there..there's also this small stage where ladies can juz go up and dance..and oh my god..some of the ladies who went up were really fat and old..and they dun dance very well..so it was really funny..we met alot of funny ppl inside..the whole time we were juz laughing in there..by the time we went back to our hotel it was already 2am so we couldnt go up to the observation tower..

this morning before leaving for the airport we went up to the observation tower..the view up there is spectacular..but think it would have been nicer at night with all the night lights..there are 3 thrill rides at the top of the tower and from the observation deck we could see one of them at the edge of the tower..it was super scary coz the ride is tilted at the edge and the car will zoom forward..so it looks like u're falling off the building..but it's really cool..

so that marks the end of our 3 days 2 nights trip to las vegas..really had lotsa fun! think i'll wanna go back again next time coz there's gonna be more hotels on the way!
