its the term break! but i dun have a break at all..coz gotta go back to sch almost everyday..sianz.. gonna do column chromatography to purify my product..and tmr's my HPLC slot..hope the machine's fixed! and we're gonna have a mini mooncake party tmr during lunch! lotsa fun!
mom's back from hk and she bought lotsa new clothes for mi! i'm super duper happy! i got a new dress and top from Imperial..and they both have wavy details straight down the middle..a shirt from Vivienne Westwood and a Moschino Olive Oyl top..and 3 coats! one short, one medium and one long..i love the medium length one especially from Stella McCartney..it's red and white checkered with those super big red buttons..and the material's really thin and waterproof..good for rainy days..haha..the Max & Co long coat is really heavy but very classy..the dark purple colour is damn nice..this season's colour..and i have lotsa colourful leggings to wear to sch..a Marc Jacobs keychain to go with my bag..Moschino Happy Fizz perfume which i absolutely love..the lemon smell always make mi feel happier and Chanel's gold highlighter! airport selling at $60 onli while town is $70..haha..but too bad didnt manage to get any boots for mi..so i'm on the hunt for ankle boots with killer heels rite now..the higher the better haha..i juz love wearing heels..the moment u step into them u walk differently and u carry urself with lotsa confidence..haha..not to mention sexier too..
oh and my new masks that i ordered online are here! really good deal coz if u order more than 10 pieces they dun charge u postage fee..so juz gotta add $0.50 for handling fee..so i bought the hokkaido lovers mask at $1.20 each..cheaper than my beauty diary mask which was selling at $1.50..and i tried scheming mask too which costs onli $1..got a piece of platinum nanocolloid mask at $3.50..it's supposed to be really good so decided to buy 1 and try first..if anyone wanna buy can go to thefairycove.blogspot.com and check it out..and it's really easy to order online too..juz need to fill in a form with all the details..100% hassle-free..
anyway juz wanna mention congrats to the paralympians for doing us proud at the games! finally we won a gold medal and it's won by a pure singaporean and not some foreign talent..and i seriously think that they shld be offered the same amount of prize money..personally i think they had to overcome more odds to achieve all this and they really deserve everything..
everyday the news are constantly mentioning abt the Lehman brothers collapse, AIG's financial difficulties and the China milk powder scandal..lotsa ppl were queueing up at AIA to terminate their policies..and i have one with them too! haha..mom was saying maybe shld get back the money and change insurance companies..haha..but then i think it's onli a temporary thing lar.. shldnt be that bad yet for now..i mean the MAS said that rite? so trust the gov i guess..haha..
as we start to leave our sch days behind and step into the working force..we all have to start being more mature in handling matters..sometimes it's more rational to follow ur head than ur heart..getting all emotional is not gonna get us anywhere..no reason getting all upset over a small thing when there are great things lying ahead..
