visited quite a number of places this time round..since we had an extra 2 days..took lotsa photos but lazy to upload all here so plz go visit my facebook to view! we stayed at sakura hotel in Hatagaya..it's really convenient coz it's located 2 stations away from Shinjuku and there are lotsa restaurants and pharmacies nearby..it's more of a residential area but lotsa ppl stay there..and the hotel is really clean and the staff can speak english quite well..there's also free wireless internet in the conference room..and they provide free breakfast too if u can get up before 9..haha..it's also slightly cheaper since it's not located in the city area..anyone going to tokyo next time can stay there! i highly recommend it!
went to shinjuku, harajuku, shibuya, disneyland, factory outlet, tokyo dome, akihabara and tokyo tower! shopping mostly at shinjuku and shibuya coz the clothes there are more to my taste..haha..those at harajuku are nice too but i think they're more suited to teenagers and abit too wild..haha..u wouldnt dare to wear them here..but the ppl there are damn cool..dress damn funky..very daring..hair in all sorta colours..disneyland was super crowded coz of the additional winter electrical parade..it's their 25th anniversary so there's celebration all yr round until next march..first time to disneyland during winter! the decorations are damn nice and watching fireworks in the cold..haha..factory outlet was located quite far away from the city..had to take a 40min train ride from Ikebukuro and changed to a bus which takes us there..but quite worth it coz got some good deals..bought 2 tops from banana republic at about $30 each and a levis denim jacket for $60..went to akihabara to get my wii games and went to imperial palace after that..but damn suay it started pouring like mad..and the wind was super strong so couldnt get any pics..got all drenched while trying to find a nearby shelter and our umbrella got turned up the other way..haha..but it was fun! went tokyo tower after that to see the night view of tokyo and it's their 50th anniversary! so fast..tokyo dome mi and my bro tried the super high roller coaster there and it was super exciting! and it was damn cold so my hands were freezing while gripping the bar..but very fun! and coz the skies turned dark after 5pm we could see the night lights while on the ride..but i was concentrating on screaming instead..haha..

shopping was fun coz there's so much stuff to see u juz dunnoe where to start looking..i bought a few leggings coz they have all the cool colours and designs there..some turtlenecks to wear in the future..wedges, shorts and a dress from zara and a pair of stilettos from some jap brand..i love that pair of shoes! it's filled with glitter and some crystals and silver in colour..i dun really care if it's 4 inches high..haha..accessories from shibuya 109..omg that place..u can shop an entire day in there..it's 10 stories high and all ladies fashion! it's supposed to cater to the high sch gals there but they have really cool clothing..abit like far east but more ex coz standard of living there is higher..actually they didnt really have much inflation coz their prices have always been around the same throughout the yrs..it's juz that the exchange rate is high now that's y it's a bit more ex..and of coz the famous shibuya crossing where it's supposedly the busiest junction in the whole world..every 3 mins all traffic will stop and everyone can cross the road in all sorta directions! orchard road is nothing compared to it..haha..imagine squeezing ur way pass tons of ppl and trying to get across..fun experience!
i absolutely love the food in japan! the ramen there is 10x better than those here..the soup is very rich coz it's all cooked using pig bones and the serving are big too..alot of chashu given! i'm nv eating ajisen here again..kabukicho in shinjuku is filled with good food..we tried this place selling tonkatsu rice and it's really unique coz u're supposed to eat put all the veg and the pork cutlet into ur bowl of rice and pour tea into it and eat..very nice! diff way of eating rice..haha..and tried Mac and MOS there.. got diff types of burgers..nice too but i find the sauce abit too salty.. we had kobe beef for dinner too..meat was very soft! and there's this mini ramen shop beside our hotel which sells very good ramen and the uncle even recognizes us..haha..coz we went there 3 times..it's a must try!

overall japan trip was a very cool experience..i really like alot of things abt their culture..and i feel that there are many things that singaporeans shld learn from them..like putting ur own tray back after eating, not allowed to talk on handphones on the train, queue up for the train in an orderly manner, having much better service and most importantly stop being so kiasu when going overseas! sometimes it's really embarrasing to see how singaporeans behave overseas..i dun want to part of that..please improve ppl!
