finally done with perfumes & cosmetics paper today!!! i can go happily burn my notes now..haha..now left with 2 bloody chem papers next mon and tues..which i haven even touched yet..i'm already 3/4 into holiday mood..muz perservere on in this blistering heat!!! i need to lock myself up in a fridge soon..
was watching the star awards yest even though i was supposed to be studying..coz it provided me with so much entertainment value..haha..let's start with the artistes' dresses..omg..haha.. some of them were soooooooo horrible..my no.1 most hated person fiona xie looks like she was going clubbing with that shiny dress and shiny jacket and her 6 inches platforms..jeanette aw juz came back from some beach holiday and couldnt be bothered to change into sth else with that etro dress..i mean bohemian style is in and all..and etro's clothes are super printed and bright..but i've seen classier stuff than this..honestly if u wanna wear sth casual and get away with it..u better have a supermodel's face so all the attention is taken away from the dress..and zoe tay..wat's with the tube dress man? it cuts her body into 3 pieces and so not flattering at all.. and it was so short..no silouhette at all..omg..who's her stylist? and xiang yun's dress was not too bad..but who gave her the wrong shoes?? it's obviously too big for her and she was literally dragging her feet onto the stage..the guys werent that great either..christopher lee tried to act artistic but end up looking like he juz got out of bed and grab sth from his wardrobe without looking in the mirror.. ruan jing tian's pants looks horrible..omg..there was so much fabric and crease hanging down his front it was almost obscene..and apparently jerry yeo wasnt spared by the new paper too..as quoted he looked like a waiter..haha..i didnt really see wat he wore but i doubt it was great..
of coz there were some great outfits too..yvonne lim looks great in her hot pink dress..kym ng wore a classy black dress..even fann wong looks not bad..even though i'm not a great fan of hers.. that's abt all i think..haha..i really cannot recall any other good ones..coz there were so many horrible clothes out there..but i gotta say chew chor meng was great..managed to win the best supporting actor award and get onto the stage by himself..so note to those stylists or whoever those ppl are in charge of all these..pls put up a better show next year..ppl with bigger frames should not be allowed in short dresses..isnt it supposed to be glamorous? i mean once a year, if i'm them i'll wear a freaking gown..how often do u get to show them off? and it changes ur image instantly..and also practice ur walk before accepting ur awards..there is no need to run and dun slouch..omg..u're juz gonna trip on ur long train..running juz shows that u're desperate..ha..keep it cool man..they've gotta wait for u..and get rid of the damn timer..it's freaking ridiculous! like hello..this is not miss universe contest..juz do the cue sign and ask them to speed up next time..if the show overruns abit it's fine! we're not gonna complain that the news started late..oh and lastly plz put on some bloody makeup if u're nominated..looks like a ghost on the stage..
ok..done with my ramblings..haha..i juz thought it was hilarious..think the producers and stylists should learn how the oscars and other award shows are done..speaking of makeup i need to buy lotsa stuff coz they seem to be all running out at the same time..get an anti blemish serum..a liquid foundation..good makeup base..moisturizer..argh..shall use my sephora $50 voucher and see wat good product i can get..
